Alright,

Now I haven’t updated this in a while and this post is as much for anyone checking out this site as it is for me to realize I need to update.

I have been planning to update this site for a while but got a little bit busy. But to make a list a show a tell a little of what I’ve been doing I will make a quick number list of items. All of these will eventually have an official post.

  1. I worked/Interned the summer at Driver Digital an Online Media Production Company in NYC. I had a great time working there  and while I was there I worked on two main projects.
    • Digits – A Webisode series of an Italian Male Model trying, and pretty successfully, to get girls digits. I created the Intro/Outro, Inner Sequences, and some other graphics. My graphics were also mention in an article by NewTeeVee.
    • I also worked on creating a Animated Case Study for one of their past client Coke-a-Cola. You can find it on the Driver Digital home page under Coke – Faithless.
  2. Currently I’m working as the Director of Motion Graphics of RIT SPORTSZONE. I’ve been working their for my whole college career starting as a graphics designer, the moving to motion graphics last year when we created out live show, now on the broadcast show side. I work with a team of animators/designers to create various on screen graphics.
    • Lower Thirds
    • Transitions
    • On-air Animations
    • Commercials
    • and other stuff.

These are the two main things I want to post about in addition to a new layout for the site. I also seem to need to update my WordPress per the message that says “Please update NOW!” I’ve done some other work but mainly design oriented stuff so check out my DeviantArt page for that stuff. This is it and it seemed like it would be more when I started but I guess not, now I’m off to install some software on a friends computer.

This is a static image of the Joust Arcade Machine I made for my joust animation. I modeled and textured it in Cinema 4D. As for the specifics, the side art I recreated based of of image of the real machine.  The top art was just vectorized verison of the original image and the art around the screen and the buttons was made in photoshop. Also the side image on the side, which is instructions on the game came was an image someone took of it.

This was my entry into greyscalegorilla.com ’s Five Second Project – “Old Video Games” Theme. I created my entry using Cinema 4D for the arcade machine, and Adobe After Effects for the sprite animation. The sprite where aquired from the MAME emulator of the Joust Arcade Game.

This is a Brochure I designed for my Final Project for my typography class. The images are used without permission and are owned by ther respective organizations or companies.

You can download the whole DAW Brochure as a PDF, or click the images to view a lower resolution version of the pages.

These design where created for a typography assignment. The premise behind it was to create three design for a company (I choose Mailchimp.com), that revolved around 1. the company description, 2. thier title, 3. the logo.

This was my second project that I created for my Digital Illustration Class. The idea behind it was to create a poster to promote your self and what you would like to do in the future.

During this school year at my job(RIT Sports Zone) I switched positions from the Graphic Design department to Motion Graphics. One of the jobs I was asked to do was create transitions for our Live Hockey Show on Time Warner Sports Network. Below are two sets of transitions, one focusing one the hockey puck and stick and the second on the RIT tiger head Logo.

This was the final project for my 3D animation character class, done in Maya 2008. The character is one or two(since the head is different) that they give us to use. The etch-a-sketch and the blocks are from turbosquid.(playblast quality)

Well my computer survived rendering 1k+ plus frames but I forgot to make sure all of the elements where visible sore there are no plants or flowers, which is probably why it only took about 12hrs to render. But it was worth i just to see it in actually color and notice things that are wrong, like where doors and windows are not connected to the walls. Time to fix thoes…

This is a quick playblast render of the 3D courtyard video. I hope my computer can actually handle rendering all the frames, its about a thousand…
